The 49-year-old blonde bombshell is fast becoming a national treasure, winning a legion of fans with her work as co-host of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest and starring roles in Ted Lasso, Sex Education and Benidorm, among others.
Now she has entered the market to become Today’s next permanent presenter, with odds of 4/1.
William Hill came third in the race behind Alison Hammond at 6/5 and Jeremy Vine’s Storm Huntley at 2/1.
