Tensions ran high on Sunday during the exciting grand finale of the auction day when couple Kristy and Brett went nuts after only making a small profit on their home.
The couple, both 34, looked heartbroken when they learned their home was selling for just $3,035,000 – just $65,000 above the reserve price.
“Australia got what it wanted, so!” snapped Kristy.
“I hate to sound ungrateful. $65,000 is big for some people, but we gave up three months of great work, it’s not enough,” added Brett.
The pair then walked up to their fellow contestants and Kristy shocked them by violently clapping as they cheered her on and made a scene.

“Why do you have to clap? “I’m sorry, but our agent messed up the bed, they messed it up for us,” Kristy fumed.
The two were named this year’s “villains” because of their feud with Eliza and Liberty.
The couple has been open about the two friends throughout the season, accusing them of “cheating” and preferential treatment by producers.
Meanwhile, fellow blockheads Leah and Ash were also left devastated when bids on their house fell short of the reserve price, meaning the house was handed over in the hope of being able to sell it later.

Elsewhere in the episode, the absolute winners were Steph and Gian, whose house sold for a whopping $5 million.
They walked away with $1.65 million in winnings and $100,000 in prize money, for a total profit of $1.75 million.
Steph and Gian’s House 4 was the first to go up for auction and it was an exciting time for the couple, who described their $3.35 million reserve as “hell” and feared they wouldn’t make any money from the sale would not make
Thanks to serial bidder Danny Wallace, bidding quickly reached $4 million, but action was halted after a woman fainted and was hospitalized during the auction.

After the break, bidding stagnated at $4 million before immediately increasing by $1 million to $5 million – and the hammer fell: House 4 was sold.
The $5 million sale netted the couple a profit of $1.65 million. Steph and Gian hugged each other and burst into tears as they described the money as “life-changing”.
The house was sold to Adrian Portelli, known as “Mr. Lambo,” who said he wanted to prove he was a true bidder after controversy last season.
“After the deficit last year, I had to prove I wasn’t a fake bidder and I came out loud and strong,” he said.
