BBC Breakfast aired on Saturday morning after an alarm went off in the studio, forcing the presenters to evacuate.
Host Roger Johnson and Rachel Burden’s interview with The Apprentice winner Harpreet Kaur came to an abrupt end when it was interrupted by alarm.
Fans immediately scolded the presenters, who seemed “confused” by the noise, as they looked absently around the studio and apologized to their hosts.

The two couldn’t apologize enough as Harpreet and her guests sat on the couch with their pastries.

Rachel continued: “We’ll have to leave the studio for now, hopefully we can come back to talk about the pies before the show is over.”
Roger looked confused by the message as he addressed the audience and added, “Thanks, enjoy everything you do for the rest of the day.”

“Harpreet, I’m so sorry, we think we’re on the air, we don’t know… Thanks for watching… here we say goodbye.”
