It seems that the star of the series “Sherlock” will move soon, but not of her own free will. A criminal broke into the house of Benedict Cumberbatch, from whom the actor’s family and himself were saved only by a miracle.
It all happened recently in a $3.5 million mansion in London. As the artist, along with his wife and three children, went about their business, an unknown man stormed into the area.
The perpetrator ripped off the intercom and kicked out the iron gate. He brandished a fish knife and shouted that he wanted to burn down the house with Cumberbatch. The man took out one of the plants and threw it against the wall, then continued his work without guzzling salt.
It later emerged that the assailant was 35-year-old Jack Bissell, who used to work as a chef in an elite restaurant. He could not explain his motivation.
“Of course the whole family was terrified and they thought this man was going to go in and harm them,” a source told the Daily Mail.
