Jonathan Majors says testimony and video evidence will prove his innocence amid domestic violence allegations against his ex-girlfriend.
An attorney for the 33-year-old actor filed filings in Manhattan on Wednesday, pointing to several factors that Major says will exonerate him from the charges, TMZ reported after reviewing the court documents.
Priya Chaudhry – the lawyer representing the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor in the criminal case – said testimony from his manager and surveillance footage from the nightclub points to the actor’s innocence following his arrest in New York. March 25 in connection with assault, intimidation and strangulation.
Chaudhry said an actor’s manager witnessed the altercation between the Lompoc, Calif.-born actor and his ex-girlfriend around 1 a.m. on the day of the incident.
The driver saw the woman attack the actor while trying to steal his phone, Chaudhry said.

The lawyer said the manager will testify that they never saw the Marvel actor “in any way” or touched his ex-girlfriend. [raise] his voice’ in their quarrel.
The driver will also testify that he saw Major’s wife “hitting, clawing and attacking” who asked to stop the car to get out after his ex made physical contact with him, Chaudhry said.
The Majors’ attorney said they had evidence to support the woman’s claims that her finger was broken and her ear was lacerated, a “complete lie,” citing video footage of the woman going to a nightclub after the altercation.
Chaudhry said hours of video footage showed the woman drinking at the club after the incident, contradicting her claim that she sustained the aforementioned injuries at the actor’s hands.
The woman also sent text messages to the actor accusing him of cheating on her and threatening suicide, Chaudhry said in legal documents.
Chaudhry said the woman in nightclub footage often used her right hand, which injured the actor in the incident.
The lawyer said in legal documents that the woman was seen combing her hair, rummaging through her purse, going through credit cards and holding her phone and a glass of champagne, proving her condition amid the alleged injury to her hand.
In the court documents, Majors’ legal team said his ex-girlfriend also took pictures and drank champagne with friends without injury.

Majors’ ex-girlfriend arrived at his home at 3:23 a.m. and entered the residence, where he was not present, Chaudhry said. The woman called his number a total of 32 times and sent text messages expressing anger and jealousy.
Chaudhry said none of the text messages indicate allegations of physical abuse or injury.
Majors arrived at his home at 11:13 a.m. and found the woman passed out and partially clothed lying on the floor in his walk-in closet, his attorney said in legal documents.
Majors was dropped by his management company after the incident.
