Jonno Davies to play the younger Robbie Williams in his upcoming biopic

Hunters star Jonno Davies plays a younger incarnation of Robbie Williams in an upcoming musical biography about the singer.

The 29-year-old actress, who has also appeared on TV series like Casualty and Holby City, confirmed on Twitter that she will be playing the iconic singer in Better Man with a star-studded cast including Steve Pemberton and Alison Steadman.

Jonno republished an article confirming the film’s cast, writing, “I play Robbie Williams in his musical biopic, Better Man, with an incredible cast and the legend himself; all beautifully directed by Michael Gracey. Damn.

The Greatest Showman’s director, Michael Gracey, will direct Better Man, which began filming in Australia.

Jonno is best known for his role as Alex DeLarge in the stage production of A Clockwork Orange, which toured Norway and Singapore.
