Ginger’s husband Ben is a great man, as he also works as a journalist! The news personality is currently working on WPIX 11 and can be seen on the news schedule between 8am and 10am Monday to Friday. Ben also spends time working on the show on Sundays at 9:30, according to his Instagram bio. The 41-year-old is a proud graduate of Emerson College in Boston, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in media.

Ben assumed his current role in 2020 and was co-host before that Pickler and Ben with Kellie Pickler. Her work has been so successful that it’s even earned her not one, but two Daytime Emmy nominations, according to her IMDb page. She got her first nomination for “Outstanding Informational Talk Show Host” in 2018 and her second one a year later. Even though she didn’t win, she remains a successful journalist with many impressive shows and companies to her credit, including: NYC live, EXTRA, entertainment tonight, and the today’s program.

The adorable couple tied the knot nearly a decade ago in 2014. Ben took to Instagram on June 7, 2022 to celebrate their eighth anniversary with a fun clip of their lip-sync. No one I’d rather chase them with. Happy eighth birthday. @ginger_zee,” she captioned the video, which featured the song “Waterfalls” by FTA.

Most recently, Ben took to Instagram to highlight an article by Closer through the yahoo! News about his marriage to Ginger. The headline questioned whether or not they were still together, which she joked about in an Instagram post on Jan. 27, 2023. “This is something Ginger and I have wanted to talk to you about for a long time, but we just don’t. I don’t know how, ”the bold legend of her began. “I’m sorry to say that Ginger and I are no longer together and she lives with an American lime somewhere near Nova Scotia.”

His satirical post continued: “Am I hurt? Clear. But I know this is the best for us. Ginger is happy to be sentimental and I have to move on. Thank you yahoo gossip person for giving me the strength to bring it up. Ginger commented on the post after a friend joked that their love was “everlasting,” to which his wife said, “SOLID.”

Ginger also spoke with US weekly in September 2018 on “maternal guilt” as a working mother. “Give yourself a pardon,” she told the agency at the time. “I think mother guilt starts the moment the baby is born, so that will happen. It’s okay to hear that and let it wash over you because it’s going to happen anyway.”
