The Game of Thrones prequel, the House of the Dragon project, has become as popular in Russia as the original project. If abroad it was watched by about nine million people on the night of its release, then in our country they preferred to download the series from illegal sources.
The show was seen on 36,000 pirate sites, but that turned out to be far from a record. The series “Secrets of the Investigation” and “Cop Wars” proved to be much more popular with domestic viewers. It is these projects that have become leading in the number of illegal links on the web. Analysts attributed this interest to the release of new seasons and an effort by copyright holders to remove this content from other sites.
According to RBC, nearly 64,000 links to download the “Secrets of the Investigation” series were revealed in the first quarter of this year, as well as 52,000 links to pirate sites to download “Cop Wars.”
