While Todd and his wife Julia Crisley, 50, began their prison terms in January, Lindsie said on her most recent visit, she felt her father looked much better than when he started. She said she made friends while she did her time with her. “He’s really embracing the process there and making the most of the process there with people also spending time with him,” she said on the podcast. “He has made great friends. He talks about his friends there.
Justin chimed in to say that the friends you make in prison can help you get a fresh perspective on everything. “You will learn from them. They have had experiences in life, both good and bad. You find perspective. They have endured trauma, wounds and pain. It was motivating for me,” he said. “You go to prison and a lot of people know nothing but struggle and heartache and pain.”
Previously, Lindsie admitted that her dad looked good, saying his hair was a little different but still beautiful. “My last visit with my father. I couldn’t stop telling him how good it was. He looks very, very good,” she explained. “I told him, ‘Even your hair looks better a little longer and a little grayer.'”
In addition to his good looks, Lindsie said her dad seemed less stressed after just a few months. “Your nails are not fully pulled out. As I said before starting this interview, stress ages anyone,” she said. “I’m sure she’s in a much better place. Your mood is great.
Todd is serving a 12-year prison sentence for tax fraud at Camp Pensacola federal prison in Florida. Julie is serving a 7-year sentence at Lexington Federal Medical Center in Kentucky. Lindsie’s last visit to her father wasn’t her first. She admitted she made a trip to Florida to see him shortly after her sentence began in January.
