Noel Gallagher is reported to be referencing his divorce from ex-wife Sara MacDonald in emotional lyrics to his new single.
The Oasis star (55) and the music publicist Sara (51) separated in January after 12 years of marriage.
And in his new single Dead To The World, Noel writes about “letting go” and loving “not being enough.”
According to The Sun, Noel sings on the single: “It’s time to let go, I’m bent, I’m so tired.”
“Let these be my last words: If love is not enough to mend, then leave me dead to the world.”

The song will be included on his band High Flying Birds’ next album Council Skies, out on April 2.
MailOnline has reached a Noel representative for comment.
The separation between Noel and Sara was announced in mid-January.
Noel has reportedly moved out of their £8million mansion on the South Downs in Hampshire – and now fans are wondering if the Oasis brothers will heal and reform their feud after Liam previously claimed Sara was the one stopping them from reuniting.
Noel and Sara are parents of two sons, Donovan (15) and Sonny (12). The rocker is also father to his eldest daughter Anais (22) from his previous relationship with ex-wife Meg.
A spokesperson for Noel and Sara confirmed the split to MailOnline at the time with a joint statement: “Noel Gallagher and Sara Macdonald have confirmed that the couple are divorcing.
“Noel and Sara will continue to take care of their children together, which remains their priority. Noel and Sara ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”

While a source told The Sun: “It’s a huge shame but they’re trying to keep it civil.”
“Noel has moved, but Sara may eventually want to move back to London. They are constantly working to minimize harassment.”
Noel met Sara in an Ibiza club called Space in 2000 – a year before his divorce from his first wife, Meg.
The rocker was married to Meg for four years.
The former couple were notorious for their party lifestyle as they indulged in rowdy nights out with Kate and Sadie Frost.
But after their split, it was reported that the rocker had an affair with Sara during his relationship with Meg.
But Noel and Sara strongly denied that claim, with the star issuing a statement in 2001 that he had not cheated and “left Meg because I could no longer tolerate her behaviour.”
Noel and Sarah married in 2011.
They married at the Lime Wood hotel in the New Forest in a £60,000 ceremony attended by guests including Russell Brand – but Liam said he was not invited.
“He further says he was not invited to my wedding. There was no one at my wedding except Nics [wife Nicole Appleton] mother and my mother Get over it, mate. I wasn’t invited to his wedding,” Liam told the Chicago Sun Times.
Liam does not get on with Sara and has had a number of public arguments with the PR manager in the past.
He even hinted that she was the reason there wouldn’t be an Oasis reunion, with Noel getting angry at Liam’s rebuke of Sara.

In 2020, a fan tweeted him and asked: “Hi Liam, do you know why Noel hates the oasis reunion so much????”
He replied suggesting it was her fault, writing: “I told you before he was ready but you know who won’t let him because she doesn’t like oasis music.” [sic].
The brothers themselves have had little contact over the past decade after Noel publicly left the group in 2009.
But fans are now wondering if there is any hope for the band to get back together in the future.
