And the model-actress, 25, tells the new issue of InStyle Australia that despite her success, she’s not competitive and considers herself a “girl’s girl”.
“I have many girlfriends. I think this industry is so complicated and so tough and so competitive that we might as well take care of each other and support and cheer each other up,” she told the magazine.
“I’m more excited than my friends are for themselves, and I don’t want friends in my life who don’t have the same energy for me.”
Camila went on to explain that she felt isolated as a homeschooled teenager, but has since built a trusted group of close friends.

“With every character I play, I try to bring what I know from my real life into it. That’s the most important thing I learned in acting class, how to use moments in your life that made an impact.
The star, whose character is also called Camilla in Daisy, said: “Well I don’t think Camilla is any different, I just used what I knew. I see her as incredibly independent, even though Billy is a rock star.”
Daisy Jones & The Six, premiering March 3 on Amazon Prime, follows a fictional 1970s rock band that disbands at the height of their fame.
The series stars Riley Keough in the title role, the leader of a fictional rock band from the 1970s, and Sam Claflin and model-actress Suki Waterhouse round out the main cast. Camila plays the wife of Claflin’s character, Billy Dunne.

The series was inspired by Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestseller of the same name.
In 2018, Leo fell deeply in love with model Camila. At the beginning of their relationship, Leonardo was 43 years old while Camila was only 20 years old.

After ending his five-year relationship with Morrone, Leo finally broke his under-25 pattern when he started dating supermodel Gigi Hadid, who is 27 – two years too old for the A-list actor.
But their highly publicized relationship ended a few months later in December 2022. Although it didn’t work out, the source says they’re “still friends.”
