Sophie Turner has revealed the real reason why she turned down Kendall Jenner’s invitation to the Kardashians’ post-Met Gala party on Monday night.
The 26-year-old Emmy-winning actress admitted that although she is one of Hollywood’s most famous stars for her role as Sansa Stark on the hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, she is also influenced by the stars from time to time.
On a Friday night episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the future actress recalled being fascinated by the supermodel’s beauty and accidentally cutting her out of anger.

“So Kendall Jenner was at the Met. And I love the Kardashians, but I think she’s beautiful in real life and I was so impressed by her beauty that she invited me to this party. She said, “Would you like to come?” And I just said, “No. No, I won’t.”
“I was like, ‘Why? Why am I doing this to myself? ‘ Then I sat on the bed and ate pasta. And … I was like, “[I] it could be somewhere else now,” she laughed.
Sophie explained that her behavior was due to “being really bad with celebrities.”

“Every celebrity I interact with acts or says something stupid, and if a celebrity contacts me lately, I immediately stop them and say, ‘I don’t want to do anything to you.
Elsewhere in the interview, Turner also revealed that she knew it was her husband, Joe Jonas, when they first met, and that she “cryed” after she left her apartment after their first informal date.
“I remember him leaving my apartment and it may have been from alcohol but I just cried with my brother. I thought, ‘I love this guy so much.’ And I knew. And that’s it,” she shared.
The British actress, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s second child, looked sensational in a sapphire dress that accentuated her growing baby bump.

Love at first sight: Elsewhere in the interview, Turner revealed that she knew her husband, Joe Jonas, was her when they first met, and she “cryed” after they left her apartment after their first date.
The revelation came after Fallon asked her when she realized she had married the 32-year-old DNCE lead singer, and she replied, “So I mean the first night I met her.”
When Fallon asked if Joe was at his apartment on the date, he said, “He didn’t show up, no, I’m not that forward thinking. We went out with all my friends and all their friends to a bar and then they all came back to my house and then we had a drink.”
Turner and Jonas were married in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2019, before remarrying at a larger party the following month in France.
The beautiful brunette shared a humorous anecdote of their first meeting and said she called after Joe boasted that he was often compared to “a young George Clooney.”

“So on that first date, I was like, ‘Oh, have you ever been told that you look like a young celebrity?’ said,” he recalls.
“And I was like, ‘Oh, yes, sometimes. But why are you asking me? And he was like, ‘Well, I get it… I always have the young George Clooney.’ “
In disbelief, Sophie remembered later telling Joe that she actually didn’t look like the 61-year-old Ocean’s Eleven actor, “I said, ‘No, you don’t.’
The actress later joked about her own likeness of the celebrity, “Then I said to her, ‘Well, I always have the young Boy George.'”

Funny: He also shared a first-date anecdote that showed Joe bragging about being compared to young George Clooney.
The star was on the show to promote her latest role in the HBO series Max The Staircase, a true crime drama series based on the 2004 documentary series of the same name.
The series follows the story of writer Michael Peterson, who is convicted of murdering his wife, Kathleen Peterson, who is found suspiciously dead under the stairs of their home.
Although there are numerous theories about Kathleen’s death, Sophie has admitted that she is fed up with the speculation about the tragedy.

New role: The actress was on the show in 2004 to promote her latest role in the HBO series Max The Staircase, a true detective series based on the documentary series of the same name.
“I mean, I’m done talking about what happened. I mean, we were on set and everybody had theories, and I had theorized for a very long time. And then, at this point, I’m like, ‘I got over it, got over it.’
