The organization, which represents a union of Asian-American artists, set designers and the famed Manhattan nightclub, is among the nominees for this year’s Tony Awards, which were announced today ahead of Monday’s award nominations.

Winners also included Emily Grishman, a music writer who provides written instrumental parts and scores for Broadway, Off-Broadway and Regional Theater, and Broadway for All, an organization for young artists and theater professionals.

The Tony Honors for Excellence in Theater was founded in 1990 and is awarded annually to institutions, individuals and / or organizations that have shown outstanding achievements in theater but have not established themselves in any of the Tony Award categories.

  • Emily Grayman Grisham, music writer for Broadway, Off Broadway and Regional Theater, “provides instrumental parts and complete scores (scores) used by the musicians in the orchestra pit and the conductor of each show, working closely with the composers. , Orchestrators and Players. Tony Award nominations will be announced Monday May 9 at 9:00 am on the official ET Tony Awards YouTube page. The 75th edition of the Tone Awards, presented by Ariana Deboz, will air live at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday 12 June on CBS and Paramount +.
