Rihanna surprised fans on Sunday, March 5 by letting them get a glimpse of her adorable 10-month-old son she shares with a $ rocky ap. The pregnant ‘Umbrella’ singer took to Instagram to share photos of her baby boy and joked that he was upset he missed his live performance at the 2023 Oscars. “My son when he found out his brother was going at the Oscars and not him,” Rihanna captioned the photo of the boy looking adorably grumpy (below). She tagged the cute post, “@theacademy #oscarnominee #oscarperformancein1week.”

In another photo, Rihanna holds her son, whose name is yet to be revealed, while watching his mom’s music videos on a laptop. And in a clip added to the post, the hip hop heiress laughs as she bounces on Rihanna’s lap. Very pretty!
For her next performance at the Oscars, Rihanna will sing her single “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, which was nominated for Best Original Song. It is Rihanna’s first nomination and she will face the previous winner. Lady Gagawho winked at her Top Gun: nonconformist hymn “Take my hand”.
While she joked that her son was jealous of his soon-to-be-born baby brother, Rihanna’s efforts to keep her second pregnancy a secret were no laughing matter. Fans didn’t know about Rihanna’s baby bump until she revealed it during her amazing Super Bowl LVII halftime show! It was so secret that even Rihanna’s father didn’t know that the pair were waiting for her to perform at State Farm Stadium.
And while she’s remained relatively private about her pregnancies, motherhood definitely seems to be on Rihanna’s side, as she opened up about it during an interview to promote her show Savage X Fenty Vol. 4. “Life starts all over again when you become a parent, it’s a life you’ve never known before,” she said.
