Bindi Irwin and her brother Robert encourage their mother Terri to find love, 16 years after the untimely death of their Crocodile Hunter father Steve.
The couple want Terri to “be happy again” and are reportedly encouraging her to start using dating apps.
“Bindi and Robert tried to get Terri to freshen up her look. She is beautiful under all that khaki and she deserves to show it,” a source told New Idea.
“However, the kids have a little ulterior motive: they want to dress her up and take a picture of her so they can help her sign up to dating apps.”
The insider explained: “They know she’ll never find anyone else like her father – there is no man.” They just want her mother to experience that happiness again.”

Steve, known as The Crocodile Hunter, died aged 44 on 4 September 2006 after being stung in the chest by a stingray while filming a wildlife documentary in Queensland entitled Ocean’s Deadliest.
Terri has never dated or remarried since her husband’s death, despite swirling rumors of romances with the likes of Russell Crowe over the years.
The Irwins, on the other hand, kept Steve’s memory alive through their conservation work at the Australian Zoo.

The family’s most recent tribute to Steve is the Crocodile Hunter Lodge, which consists of luxury cabins on the zoo’s grounds.
The chic rooms offer guests modern amenities on scenic grounds, with four-person cabins listed on the website for $949 a night.
There is also a restaurant on site called “Warrior” in honor of Bindi’s father and Terri’s late husband Steve and granddaughter Grace Warrior.
In a recent video posted on Instagram Stories, Robert revealed that some of the wood used in buildings came from the alligator stands originally built by Steve.
“So much of the lodge was more or less built by hand by dad,” Robert said in the clip.

The insider explained: “They know she’ll never find anyone else like her father – there is no man.” They just want her mother to experience that happiness again.
He went on to say that the three trees in front were also “originally planted by Dad” and that the place was Steve’s dream.
Terri also appeared in the video and explained that Steve had always dreamed of allowing visitors to have an immersive experience.
“Steve always dreamed that one day people would not only be able to visit the Australian zoo, but also spend the night there. Have the immersive experience,” she said.
“It was so important to us to make his dreams come true with beautiful luxury accommodation surrounded by the conservation work we are known for.”
