Cyclists are not required by law to wear helmets and there is no law prohibiting the use of a phone.
The Scottish actor was also seen without a helmet in East London last year while cycling with the actress’ friend Saoirse Ronan, 28.
The couple, who recently bought a £2.5million three-bedroom house in north London, met Lowden’s brother Calum, a ballet dancer, and a friend at a pub.
Jack recently wowed viewers on the new BBC1 drama The Gold with his portrayal of Kenneth Noye.
BBC1’s The Gold tells the story of the aftermath of the biggest armed robbery in British history: the theft of £26 million worth of gold bars.
The series also stars Hugh Bonneville and Dominic Cooper.
Viewers are so amazed by his performance that they wonder if he might be the next James Bond.
It’s been a slow rise to fame for Jack, who once dreamed of being a footballer and attended drama school in Edinburgh as a teenager before landing roles in Irn Bru commercials and local plays.
But after his big break in 2016’s War and Peace, he became a household name, appearing in 2018’s Mary Queen of Scots, where he met his girlfriend Saorise Ronan, and recently starred alongside Gary Oldman in the drama Slow Horses .
Jack attended the Manor School of Ballet in Edinburgh with his brother Calum.
But football was his one true love and he dreamed of turning pro.
He explained: “I wanted to become a footballer. It absolutely broke my heart when I realized I wouldn’t be one.
“If someone waved a wand and I could play football very well, I would bite their hand off and do it. [acting].’
