The 25th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards Ceremony was held on Monday, February 27 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles and recognized excellence in film, television and short costume design. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the CDGA and is the only night each year where designers celebrate their work and their contemporaries together.
Bette attended the glamorous event Midler, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Polley, Hunter Schafer, Christina Ricci, Colleen Atwood, Angela Bassett, Ruth E. Carter, Ashley Park, Elizabeth Debicki, Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin and Austin Butler.
Other guests included costume designers Lucinda Wright, Danielle Launzel, Deborah L. Scott, Shirley Kurata, Jenny Beavan, Kasia Walicka Maimone, Kameron Lennox, B. Åkerlund, Mona May and Mandi Line.

Bette Midler received the Distinguished Collaborator Award and Angela Bassett also received the Spotlight Award, followed by Deborah L. Scott, who received the Career Achievement Award, and costume designer Rachael M. Stanley received the Distinguished Service Award.
