The death of the legendary actor Boris Chunaev shocked the theater community. The beloved 85-year-old actor from the Lenkom Theater went through difficult times before leaving.
According to Yury Karachentsov’s close friend and widow, Lyudmila Porgina, Chunaev received two blows in a row.
“Bory has had a stroke. First – the first, easy enough. And then the second. It happened a few days ago. After that, Boris became paralyzed on the left side of his body. He was hospitalized, ”said Chunaev’s close friend Lyudmila Porgina in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
After hospitalization, doctors suspected that Chunaev had contracted COVID-19 and decided to transfer him to another hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away shortly afterwards.
Chunaev was not only a close friend of the Karachentsov family, but also an integral part of the theater community. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. At this time, the place of his burial is not reported. Porgina turns to Dmitry Pevtsov with a request to help find a cemetery at the Troekurovsky cemetery, where Karachentsov is buried.
