Now Princess Charlotte is called that.
Seven-year-old Charlotte, like any child her age, is getting an education. She does this in a special school, where she communicates with her peers, fulfills the duties of teachers and plays a little naughty between classes.
It was the cheeky character and penchant for adventurous deeds that caused the new nickname for the daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William. If previous parents and close members of the royal family could call the girl a loving derivative of the name, for example Lottie, this is now a thing of the past.
Colleagues nicknamed Charlotte “Warrior Princess”, probably following the example of the heroine of comics and the series Xena.
“Clearly she deserved this nickname, she’s a real tomboy,” the pundit is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
