The 34th annual Producers Guild Awards kicked off Tuesday with HBO Max’s Sesame street won the children’s program award and the HBO documentary Tony Hawk: Till the Wheels Fall Off Sports program winners in categories announced at the East Coast PGA-nominated celebration in New York.
The winners of the Guild’s short-form program and innovation awards will be announced Thursday at the West Coast Celebrations in Los Angeles. The remaining winners will be announced Saturday night at the PGA Awards main ceremony, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton.
Tom Cruise will receive the Guild’s David O. Selznick Achievement Award at Saturday’s event, while Mindy Kaling will receive the Norman Lear Achievement Awards.
Also on Saturday, a winner in the PGA Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures category will be announced. This list of nominees includes Warner Bros. elvisA24s Everything, everywhere, all at oncepriority Top Gun: Maverickand Disney’s Avatar: The Way of Water And Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Only from this group Black Panther 2 failed to make the list of Best Picture nominees for an Oscar.

The televised races, decided Saturday, feature nominees including HBO’s the white lotus, that of Netflix osark And Dahmer – Monsters: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmerand that of Hulu Only dead in the building.
