Dick Van Dyke was eliminated after appearing as a leprechaun on the season 9 premiere of The Masked Singer on Fox on Wednesday.
The 97-year-old legendary entertainer performed a hilarious rendition of Frank Sinatra’s When You’re Smiling, leaving panelist Nicole Scherzinger, 44, in tears when he revealed his identity.
“This is the most experienced and well-decorated show we’ve had on our show, ladies and gentlemen,” said host Nick Cannon, 42, when Dick revealed his identity.
Nicole openly cried when Nick asked Dick what it was like to be the leprechaun.
“It was really dark there. … I couldn’t see anything,’ said Dick.

Nick pointed out that Nicole was in tears.
“I love you so much, we love you, the whole world loves you so much. It’s an honor to have you on our show,” Nicole said, her voice cracking with emotion.
“I can’t believe you’re here, I’m trying to keep it cool. You look so beautiful, you look so good,” Nicole gushed.
“I am so overwhelmed,” panelist Jenny McCarthy (50) said.
“I am 97 years old,” said Dick.
“I love Dick Van Dyke,” Nicole said.
Ken Jeong (53) told Dick he was one of the reasons why he got involved in comedy.
“You are our youth,” says Nicole.
“Our biggest reveal yet,” says Ken.
Dick then performed one last time and treated the audience to a rendition of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from the 1964 film Mary Poppins with a dance by the entertainer.
