Jack Davenport was asked about a possible return to the franchise, despite the fact that his character died. The actor hinted at a possible spin-off telling about the fate of Norrington – in this case the main character will have to be replaced.
“A snowball in hell has a better chance than a project like this. Jerry, if you’re watching this, and I know you are, I can tell you I’m ready for this. Yes, you can count on my return, I play Norrington,” the actor joked for Explore Entertainment.
