Kurt Russell laughed and fell on Goldie Hawn’s shoulder as they sat together on the edge of a window box in New York.

The Hollywood couple, who celebrated their 40th anniversary this year, enjoyed a Valentine’s Day getaway in the city that never sleeps.

Goldie (77) and Kurt (71) showered each other with love during their outing and hugged each other as they strolled down the street together.

Still sporting her signature flaxen haircut, Goldie modeled a sleek black ensemble with a shiny anorak and a pair of trainers.

Meanwhile, Kurt, who starred alongside Goldie in films such as rom-com Overboard, wrapped a sleek black coat over a casual outfit of flannel shirts and jeans.

Goldie, a comedy icon who rose to fame in Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, was seen laughing wildly with her silver fox as they pounded the pavement.

During the low points of COVID-19 lockdowns, she launched an Instagram challenge, encouraging fans to post videos of themselves or loved ones smiling.

“Smile guys and shoot it and hang it everywhere and let everyone know there’s a part of us that can feel happier every day,” she said.

Goldie and Kurt, who both divorced before becoming an item, never married despite spending four decades together.

During an appearance on Loose Women in 2015, Goldie joked: “We’ve been married before, it didn’t work out so why again?”

She argued that “marriage is ultimately an agreement because at the end of a marriage, no matter how long or short, someone owes someone money.”

The following year she went back on Loose Women and vamped, “I would have been divorced a long time ago if I was married.”

In a more reflective mood, she noted that “there’s something psychological about being single because it gives you the freedom to make choices one way or another. So I chose to stay, Kurt chose to stay, and we have made our choice.
