Church and customs may not be typical things people think of when they hear the name. Pamela Anderson, but the actress recently revealed that long before she dreamed of becoming a star, she had considered pursuing a more religious lifestyle. Pamela, 55, revealed that she originally planned to become a nun as a child during a recent interview with Drew Barrymore on your talk show.
instead of the beach Baywatch or the playboy Mansion, Pamela admitted that as a child she initially dreamed of living a much quieter life. “I wanted to be a nun or a librarian. And I took a different route. I don’t know what happened,” she told Drew, per Daily mail. “I was in the library every day; it was story time every day and I really wanted to be a librarian, and then I thought, “I really want to be a nun.”
While Pam didn’t become a nun, she admitted that she still incorporates religion into her daily life. “I have my prayers that I say in the morning, I have to do my routine: my Hail Marys, my little thing with my little Mary sculpture,” she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Pam talked about doing an “empowerment” exercise, in which she tried to channel her inner child by posting pictures of herself as a child wherever she could. “When was I normal? Before weird things started happening to me, I had to go back to that five-year-old. So I started putting his picture everywhere, and when I did Broadway, I put his picture in the mirror and said, ‘ She’ll do Broadway and I’ll get out of the way,'” he said. ‘It’s a crazy exercise to imagine yourself as a five-year-old from head to toe and give this person a hug and tell them they’re going to be okay and they’ll get over it.”
