Great loss to the world stage.
No one is forever – the saying applies to all the living, but especially to the stars of the world stage: constant tours, concerts and recordings make themselves felt.
Not so long ago, the famous founder of the Black Sabbath group announced the sad news: he leaves the stage at the age of 74, he no longer has the strength to perform. The main reason is a serious spinal cord injury sustained in 2019.
“This is probably one of the most difficult pieces of news I’ve ever delivered to my devoted fans. As you probably all know, four years ago, in February, I suffered a severe spinal cord injury. My main and only goal all along was to get back to the podium. My voice is in excellent condition. But after three surgeries, stem cell procedures, endless sessions of physical therapy and recent treatment with the latest HAL cybernetic technology, my body is still very weak physically,” Ozzy shared on his social networks.
To the great regret of the singer and his fans, there will also be no farewell tour – Osbourne’s body simply cannot cope with such loads.
