The actor shared his personal opinion.
Many people do not like “stretched” heroes for five, seven or even ten parts of one film: it’s boring, boring, you want to see someone new.
Ex-wrestler Dave Bautista, who plays the role of Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, agrees. The Hollywood actor said that he does not plan to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for money – the hero’s reputation and dignified end are more important.
“Each of us had perfect character arcs and a great ending. I constantly draw a parallel to how I ended my wrestling career. I ended it on a wonderful note. I would never go back and screw it up. It’s the same here. With Drax I have to finish perfectly. And I would never sign another job like Drax to get paid. I would sully that perfect ending, but I won’t,” Dave shared his thoughts on The Jimmy Fallon Show.
Now the actor is actively looking for other roles, taking into account characters of interest to him.
