It wasn’t long before Larsa became Instagram Official with Marcus, son of NBA great Michael Jordan.

The pair held hands as they posed next to a framed floral Michael Jordan shirt. “Diamonds over stripes,” Larsa captioned the photo with a trophy emoji.

The NBA legend’s jersey in the background of the pair’s snap seemed innocent enough, unless you consider that Pippen’s ex-husband Scottie Pippen was his estranged Chicago Bulls teammate.

The rift between Michael and Scottie deepened after the release of Jason Hehir’s award-winning ten-part ESPN documentary The Last Dance in 2020, which “glorified” Jordan while “declining” the contributions of Pippen and other players.

“Even in the second episode, which for a while focused on my difficult upbringing and unlikely path to the NBA, the story returned to MJ and his determination to win,” the 57-year-old small forward said in his memoir Unguarded written “from the year 2021.

“I was just a prop. He called me his “greatest teammate of all time”. He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried.”

Scottie continued, “To make matters worse, Michael was paid $10 million for his role in The Doctor while my teammates and I didn’t make a cent, another reminder of the old pecking order.”

Pippen and the PrettyLittleThing brand ambassador welcomed four children: Scottie Jr., 22; Preston, 20; Justin, 17; and Sophia, 14 – before they split in 2021 after 20 years of marriage.

Us Weekly previously claimed on Jan. 20 that Larsa only called Marcus her “boyfriend” because of Scottie and Michael’s longtime feud.

Pippen and Jordan’s modern couple milestone came two weeks after their first public kiss on January 7th, and they have been inseparable since their first sighting at Zuma Miami on September 4th.
