Katy Perry says it was a “mistake” to quit working with Billie Eilish

Katy Perry38, he told an audience he once quit working with billie eilish, 21, and now regrets it, during a recent question and answer session. The singer was performing a show on 102.7 KIIS FM when she opened up around the time she was asked to join the then teenager in her now mega-hit “Ocean Eyes.” After he admitted to leaving her, she called his quick decision of hers a “big mistake.”

“[Someone] He sent me an email once saying, “Hey, check out this new artist.” I would really like us to work with her because she was working with me on Unsub. [Records]” Katy said onstage. “It was a song called ‘Ocean Eyes,’ and it was just a blonde girl, and I was like, ‘Meh, bored.'”

“Big mistake. Big mistake,” he cheekily added as the audience laughed.

“Ocean Eyes” became Billie’s single in 2015. It was written and produced by her brother. Finneas O’Connellwith whom he collaborates on many of his songs, and was featured on his debut EP, don’t smile at me. It peaked at number 84 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 60 of the charts in several countries and peaked at number 72 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming a commercial success. It has received several certifications, including a triple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

While Katy wishes she hadn’t stopped working with Billie, the talented artist has had a very successful music career. Her hit single was ‘I Kissed a Girl’ released in 2008. She has since released several more hit singles, including ‘Teenage Dream’, ‘Last Friday Night’ and ‘Roar’.

When Katy isn’t working hard on her music, she enjoys family life with her boyfriend. Orlando Bloom And your daughter Margherita pizza, 2. The trio visited the zoo together last week and were photographed cycling back and forth. When they got off their bikes, the proud parents couldn’t help but smile and snap pictures of their little girl as she rode off in an adorable pink coat.
