The filming of “Prisoner of the Caucasus” coincided with the birthday of the famous Shurik – Alexander Demyanenko. Naturally, the whole group decided to celebrate this affair, and after the party, Leonid Gaidai unexpectedly offered to wave goodbye to the leading lady.
Natalya Varley was very surprised when the married master did not stop at the door of her room, but calmly entered and sat in an armchair. The actress was shocked and for a long time tried to come up with topics for conversation.
But then the famous director’s wife appeared at the door and motioned for him to follow her. Already at the exit of the door, an elderly man tried to kiss a beautiful actress, but she deftly dodged, pushed Gaidai out the door and locked herself with a latch.
The next day everything on the site went as if nothing had happened. However, the director unexpectedly decided to voice Varley again, recalls a story from the autobiographical book Culturology of the actress.
