“Guys… just because I’m drinking by the pool (which I do pretty much every day) doesn’t mean I’m celebrating Australia Day/Invasion Day,” she wrote.
“All my friends are off for the day, so let’s have a drink by the pool. Anyone who comes along will be blocked.’
Over the next few hours, Shelby posted a slew of photos and videos from the party, which was attended by dozens of women in bikinis.
Guests were seen relaxing by the pool, drinking beer and cheering on the BBQ.

The decision to celebrate or boycott Australia Day has become a hot topic in recent years, particularly among younger, more socially conscious Australians.
This is because January 26 is the date in 1788 that the First Fleet arrived at Sydney Cove, which marks the beginning of the British colonial era and is considered a day of mourning for the indigenous peoples.
