The debate on the web isn’t abating – is it ethical.
Schiaparelli’s new show made a lot of noise. The fashion house showed outfits with animal elements. The images not only used prints of different animals, but also their heads. The performance was supported by Kylie Jenner, Irina Shayk and Naomi Campbell.
The images of the stars excited the audience. Someone took it as propaganda for poaching, and someone thought that the outfits generally did not look very good. Speaking to PopCornNews, stylist Natalya Osinovskaya shared why animal rights activists shouldn’t worry.
“A distinctive feature of the fashion house Schiaparelli is outrageous. The collection is inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, according to a brand spokesperson. And the heads of animals, which are completely artificial (no animal has been harmed), symbolize such mortal sins as lust, pride and greed. Therefore, I think this show will not affect the return of natural fur fashion. And if someone wears animal heads (artificially, of course), then only for the purpose of shocking others. Only the most courageous and daring will decide on this. It is unlikely that this will go to the masses, ”says the expert.
