While many fans questioned the reason for Sharon’s appearance (and Sam’s obvious overshadowing), some think the actress starred in the 1999 film. glorya new version of Joao Cassavetes’ movie of the same name. Regardless of the cause, it was certainly an oddly entertaining sight to behold.
Sharon was eager to put her time at Studio 8H to good use as she also appeared in a sketch with the host of the show, Aubrey Square, hiring master of ceremonies for the first time. Sharon had done it herself in 1992 when she catapulted to fame outside of primitive instinct. In the sketch, a black-and-white parody of the classic film noir, Sharon played Aubrey’s mother, who has an affinity for older detectives.
“When I meet a man with cataract glasses and chest-length pants, I go crazy,” Aubrey’s character told a detective played by james austin johnson. “I love how your kisses taste like coughing, how they can’t find your glasses…” she added quickly. Sharon then came in and said she thought the detective was a “delicious snack” too. However, it was bad luck for both women, as the detective was soon killed. Check it out above!
Meanwhile, Sharon wasn’t the only celeb to crash the show. He brother’s property Jonathan Y Draw ScottY Tony Falco stopped by Rockefeller Center to participate in a Miss Universe sketch, which seemed to be influenced by a viral meme of the contestants chanting the name of their homeland.
