Banshees of Inisherin stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson will reportedly miss the Critics Choice Awards after testing positive for COVID-19.
The news was confirmed in a by Marc Malkin, Senior Culture & Events Editor at Variety tweet appeared on Saturday night.
Colin is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in The Banshees of Inisherin, while Brendan will compete for Best Supporting Actor.

‘Here we go again. Just confirmed #colinfarrell and #brendongleson will not be attending tomorrow’s #CriticsChoiceAwards as they both tested positive for COVID,” Malkin said in a tweet.
Just days before, Jamie Lee Curtis – who is also one of the night’s nominees – announced that she was skipping the ceremony after contracting the virus.
Colin, Brendan and Jamie Lee all attended Tuesday’s Golden Globe Awards, where Colin took home the award for Best Actor.
