It comes after Anne, who is married to Adam Shulman, recently revealed that she has been “pickier” about her acting roles since having children.
The husband and wife have been married for ten years and share sons Jonathan (6) and Jack (three).
While discussing her role in the drama Armageddon Time, which hits theaters November 4, Anne opened up about her change of perspective.

“It reprioritized everything, so it actually made me a little bit more selective because there has to be something really good about spending time with them because they are so precious to me.
“They are by far the most sacred part of my life. And then when I accept something, it puts even more pressure on me to make it worth not being with her.”
Anne added: “I’ve always felt a huge responsibility – with mixed results – to the public watching the project I was supposed to be working on because I take it very, very seriously.
“People work so hard for their money and the idea that I’m asking you for your time and money to enjoy this thing that I love to do has to be worth it, I really do.

She added that another element of becoming “picky” is, “I want to be the best actor I can be.” I never want to stop learning.
“That means I want to work on as many different types of films as possible and play as many different types of roles as possible.”

“That’s the only way I’m going to learn, because it can’t just be about my experience in the role, it has to be about someone who—just working with them—will make me a better performer.”

She added that Armageddon Time director James Gray “ticked all those boxes for her,” adding that she was excited to have an “age-appropriate role in a James Gray movie.”

“I’m really looking forward to showing you The Devil Wears Prada. It’s such a good movie,” she said.
“And I say this, you know, with complete humility, I’m a small part in this movie,” she continued.
“This is David Frankel, our director. It’s Meryl Streep. I mean, you know, Stanley [Tucci]Emily [Blunt]everyone—Patricia Field.”
