With nominations and awards at a furious clip for his remarkable performance as £600 teacher Charlie in Darren Aronofsky’s film adaptation of writer Sam Hunter’s play. the whale, There is reason to believe that this film, which will almost certainly earn Brendan Fraser his first Oscar nomination, will be a “comeback” of sorts for the star. He talks about his love for comedy as well as dramatic performances in films like school ribbons, gods and monsters, crash, and Steven Soderbergh’s excellent recent film No sudden movement. He also gives us a look in the upcoming Max Barbakow movie brothers, as well as Martin Scorsese’s 2023 epic Killers Of the Flower Moon, both with him.
