Jamie Lynn Spears & Beverley Mitchell: ‘There Was No Real Way’ To Prepare For Tough ‘Special Forces’ Series (Exclusive)

Celebrities may be known to live pampered lives, but 16 stars have just taken on the challenge of a lifetime for show business. Special forces – the toughest test in the worldreleased January 4, 2023 onwards Fox. The show sent a team of actors, athletes, and artists overseas to experience the grueling tests used to select elite soldiers for the Army’s elite special forces team.

For two weeks, the contestants braved the harsh elements of the desert while being pushed to their physical and mental limits. The stars came from a variety of worlds, all with different abilities. On the show, they were tasked with “surviving challenging training exercises” led by DS officers. Red eyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Sly” FoxY Remi Adeleke, all former Special Forces agents. Among the challenges? Jumping straight out of a speeding boat, free-falling out of helicopters, and literally burning up, for starters.

Though neither star knew what was coming next, Jamie Lynn and Beverley were particularly feeling like fish out of water, as they explained in an EXCLUSIVE interview with Hollywood Life.

While Jamie Lynn was prepared for some of the physical tasks of her regular fitness training, she admitted there was no way she could prepare “for something like this.” OR Nickelodeon star said: “The mental side was the most unexpected. That was the most important part for me, really mentally preparing myself to dive into that full force and not looking back. I think that was something I wished I’d done a little bit more because I was like, “My God, I feel so guilty about not being around my kids, but this is what I’m here to do.”

For Beverley, it was just a matter of fully returning to action. “No one is ready for this,” Jamie Lynn continued. “There’s no real way to train for this unless you’re an Olympian,” to which Beverley agreed, saying, “I mean, some of us aren’t giving names.” Jamie Lynn was quick to remind us of her special skills, telling everyone, “Hey, I have a children’s choice concession.”

Though the experience was exhausting, both women were amazed by the connections they made. Beverley explained: “We were all in the same boat, there was no special treatment.”

Jamie Lynn revealed how they ended up trusting each other. She said HL, “We all got together at one point or another, and it was because there was no time to think about it. They needed each other to survive, it was survival and that bond drove everything.”
