Brooke Shields has shared swimsuit photos from her July trip to Croatia on Instagram while ignoring persistent online speculation regarding weight loss medication.
The 61-year-old actress posted an image carousel to her 2.8 million followers on Tuesday, featuring photos of herself relaxing on a boat with friends in the European nation.
"Highlight of the summer: the most amazing trip to Croatia with the best people," Shields wrote in the caption accompanying the post.
The pictures show Shields wearing a navy blue strapless swimsuit while hanging out on the vessel. In a video included in the carousel, she jumped into the blue water despite the risky style of her swimwear.
Shields also posed in the scenic surroundings of Krka National Park, a protected national park in Croatia known for its series of waterfalls along the Krka River. Another photo showed Shields outside the Stari Mlin Kristijan restaurant, located in a waterfall, wearing a coral cover-up, a wide-brim hat, and casual white sneakers.
Weight loss drug speculation
The new vacation photographs come amid ongoing internet chatter regarding the star's trim physique. Fans online have set social media abuzz with speculation over whether Shields is among a plethora of stars taking GLP-1 weight loss medications such as Ozempic. Shields has not admitted to taking weight loss drugs.
Ozempic is a prescription medication originally developed for type 2 diabetes that contains semaglutide and has become widely recognized for promoting weight loss. Speculation surrounding Shields grew after she appeared especially slender at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside celebrities such as Demi Moore, where observers noted what is often called "Ozempic arms." The Screen Actors Guild Awards are an annual ceremony honoring outstanding achievements in acting.
Addressing how rapid weight reduction affects appearance, Dr Ross Perry, Medical Director of Cosmedics skin clinics, explained: "The arms can lose volume and elasticity quite quickly, leaving the skin looking loose, crepey or prematurely aged." Shields was also photographed in New York City in May, where onlookers commented on her slender frame.

Shields was also recently praised for her sassy response to her 20-year-old daughter, Grier, during a viral video trend. Shields shares Grier with her husband, film producer Chris Henchy.
The trend involved children pretending to be bullies and delivering unkind remarks to their parents to observe how they would respond. Grier criticized everything from Shields's looks and weight to her job, but the supermodel remained unfazed.
The You're Killing Me star showcased her fiery side in the video shared to TikTok by Grier. Shields is also known for starring in the 1980 film The Blue Lagoon and for writing the book Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old: Thoughts on Aging as a Woman.
At the start of the clip, Grier said: "I'm going to insult you like a bully and you need to tell me how you would respond, okay?" Shields replied: "Okay."
When Grier said, "You're so fat every time you sit on a chair it breaks," Shields responded to the jab: "When was the last time I would have even been near you at a dinner table?"
Grier also called her mother's fashion sense "awful," which prompted Shields to say: "You need to cover yourself in a paper bag."
