The mistake: you apply the tone only to the face and also forget about the neck, ears and décolleté.

Use a light foundation to avoid a “multicolored” effect. Be sure to mix it carefully and then lower it to the neck and ears.

Error: Using heavy foundation

A selfie is more of a portrait, so it is important that the tone does not emphasize wrinkles and bumps on the skin. Therefore, if you have flaws, it is better to first use a leveling base, and only then apply a light foundation.

Mistake: Overcorrecting your face

Do not draw clear lines, they are all visible in the frame. Shading is important, and of course the correct shade of the face corrector (remember, the lines should look like a natural shade that flatters your facial features). Therefore, if you are fair-skinned, use a grayish-brown color, and if you are dark-skinned, use bronze.

Usually eyebrows are drawn very clearly and brightly, which adds age. Shadows or tinted gel will help avoid such a mistake, they will not give “perfect” lines and will allow you to achieve a more natural look.

Error: Applying too many highlighters

Highlighter should be in moderation, and it is important to apply only to the protruding parts of the face. It must also be correctly matched in color. For very fair skin, white pearl is suitable, for dark skin – gold.

Mistake: Applying glossy lipstick that runs on your skin

For glossy lips, you should use a special base, it perfectly balances it and prevents lipstick from clogging into small wrinkles along the contour.

Mistake: Line your eyes with a black pencil

This technique only visually makes the eyes smaller. If you want to make eyeliner, use shadows. And be sure to shade all the lines with soft brushes.
