The main rules of nutrition

Heidi Klum is open about not following a certain strict diet, but does intermittent fasting from time to time. The model’s diet consists of three main meals. And the main rule is that the last meal should be no later than 18:00, so that by morning the body has time to collect and digest everything that was eaten during the day.

“I eat a lot. I just eat the right things,” he shared in one of his interviews for the Buro 24/7 website.

The model’s diet consists of nutrient-rich foods: vegetables, fruits and lean protein. At the same time, Heidi tries to avoid quick unscheduled snacks and eating out. These two simple rules help him carefully control his diet.


Breakfast

For breakfast, Heidi prefers a three-egg protein omelet and a serving of vegetables (spinach, peppers, herbs) with feta cheese or mozzarella. She finishes her first meal with a cup of tea with milk and fruit. And sometimes, instead of a protein supplement, Heidi starts her day with a delicious and satisfying shake made of acai berries, chia seeds, and protein.

Lunch and dinner

The model carefully ensures that her lunch includes a serving of lean protein, a side dish of whole grains, lots of vegetables and healthy fats – for example, she always cooked salads with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. She loves pairing grilled fish with roasted vegetables and poultry with a fresh vegetable salad.

One of Heidi’s most popular lunch options is a mix of fried chicken and vegetables with basmati rice and a serving of fresh lettuce.

Heidi’s dinners are not much different from lunches. Dinner consists of a serving of protein (fish or poultry) and vegetables. As a rule, the model cooks the meat on the grill and pre-marines it with lemon juice and parsley sauce. As a side dish, she makes a salad of fresh vegetables flavored with olive oil, cooks brown rice or basmati rice.


Sweets and sweets

Despite the fact that 80% of the model’s diet consists of healthy foods, Heidi believes it is wrong to exclude sweets altogether. This is true – any strict restrictions will inevitably lead to malfunctions and eating disorders. There is no healthy attitude towards food if you feel guilty about every occasional sweet treat. Therefore, it makes most sense to follow the 80/20 rule, where 80% is healthy and wholesome food and 20% is periodic small breaks.

Heidi Klum loves to indulge in dessert – it could be fruit yogurt, dark chocolate slices or sherbet. Sport

A Victoria’s Secret angel, Heidi has worked hard. Personal trainer David Kirsch has created short daily fat burning workouts for the model that combine aerobics and strength training.
