Sometimes you want a simple, feminine scent that smells expensive but doesn’t leave you broke when buying perfume. Let’s be honest, there won’t be many contenders for the “more expensive than it actually is” list, but there are some. Find scents that will make you look like a luxurious woman but won’t empty your wallet.
Luxury isn’t always about heavy oud, patchouli and vetiver. But it’s also about light floral aromas. At the center of the Costume National composition is a rich rose with a spicy yet delicate trace, surrounded by red berries, orange flowers and osmanthus.
This bottle could have made it into our final milky scent pick, but we saved it for this one. The price is extremely reasonable. And the aroma itself is warm, smelling of silage, almond milk, burnt sugar and saffron cake. It’s so soft you want to hug it.
Very nice, not boring cherry. The scent has only one similarity to Lost Cherry: Tom Ford – an expensive voice. However, Dark Cherry & Amber eau de parfum is not that bright and flashy, it is more delicate and elegant.
Russian niche brand Holynose has many beautiful scents. But “Ash” is an option for those who like complex, smoky and tobacco compositions. It contains notes of coriander, pepper, ambergris accord and Peruvian balsam.
Musc & Jasmin is an equally dazzling and breathtaking fragrance story about first love. You stand as if your nose is buried in a jasmine bush full of snow-white flowers. The black currant note in the composition gives coolness.
Lemon peels, ice-cold gin and tonic and intoxicating May air on the outdoor veranda – this is what Hors-Piste eau de parfum from French brand Bastille smells like. The aroma brings freshness and lightness, so we like to use it in winter and autumn when there is not enough warmth.
Another real summer scent in our selection is Neydo, Where Love Belongs. Thin, slightly sweet, tangerine sour and white lily of the valley. It’s carefree and easy for people like him.
