Summer is the best time to experiment with hair. The hairstyle will not be spoiled by a hat and will not be washed away by heavy rain (but this is not a guarantee). So we still have two months to repeat the hairstyles of our wildest references. We asked Giampaolo Marini, permanent artistic director of Aldo Coppola Vesna salon, which trends are worth a closer look.

If we talk about hairstyles and styles that are currently relevant, there are three main trends.
— Minimalism
— Wet effect
— Hair styling in the style of the 90s. Here you can see the dirtiness of the style of the 80s and 90s
Each of these trends can be interpreted in a specific hairstyle. Here are five of my favorites.
Low ponytail

Not a single show can pass without this hairstyle. This is because it is versatile, minimalist and trendy. The ponytail can be elegant or more relaxed, even or side-parted, low or very low. Any of the options will be in trend.
High ponytail

The high ponytail is another permanent leader among hairstyles. Unlike the low one, it is more bold and catchy. It draws attention to the face and hair shape, so it needs to be done flawlessly. To make it as smooth as possible, apply mousse or foam to your hair before combing it back.

Smooth bun

The bun can be different – low and smooth like the models at the Fendi show, with a side parting like COS or a little careless like Sacai. In any case, it will look stylish.
Textured Hair

Straight or slightly textured hair lends itself to styling. Imagine a woman getting her hair done in five minutes and then heading to the gym. The result is light waves at the end of her workout. Here’s how to replicate the texture on long, medium, and short hair.
For long hair a technique can be used. If you have time, dry it halfway and make 7-8 vertical braids. Use an iron to heat each one for 10-15 seconds. When you remove all the braids, your hair will have a light texture. It can be fixed with modeling paste or a special gel.

To create a light texture in the hair medium lengthfirst you need to dry your hair upside down, then make waves with an iron. To do this, you need to pull back 5 cm from the roots of your hair, make a slight movement with the styler, and straighten the ends and add texture.

Short Hair You can wear them without parting and put them forward. You can use a straightener heated to a maximum of 120 degrees and play with styling products such as mousses, pastes, gels. The important thing is to apply styling only to the ends of your hair, away from the roots.
Wet styling

Wet styling has been an undoubted trend for the last few years. At first it was neat, slicked back hair, and now stylists are experimenting with a wet effect whenever they can. For example, they do it in a casual style, like at the Miu Miu show, or in a mermaid style, like at the David Koma show. The ideal way to create a wet hairstyle in everyday life is to make an even parting and comb your hair back with a shiny gel.
