How to make smoke easily with only 4 products

You are watching a video on YouTube about how to smoky with shadows, you start following the tutorial and after five minutes you notice that it looks nothing like the makeup in the video. It happened to me, and because of this I know it’s normal to think that applying eyeshadow is something very complicated. But trust me, it’s just a matter of practice and choosing the right products.

Fortunately, we currently have a variety of products that make our lives easier, such as: cream shadows, stick shadows and many brush stylesso that it is easier to put on make-up. Achieving a good smokey eye is a simple and timeless techniquethat never goes out of style, with a good smoked in brown tones you are always well made for any event.

I’m going to show you the basic products you need to smoke easily yourself, without the help of videos or complications. You only need four things, a powder eyeshadow, a cream or stick eyeshadow, a blending brush and an eye pencil, preferably waterproof.

The first step to smoking quickly and for a long time, is to create a base on our eyelids with a stick, stick or cream shade. To learn this type of makeup, I recommend that you start by choosing shades that are easy to blend, such as brown. Avoid smoking with black directly as it will be harder for you.

Apply the cream shadow on your mobile lid and also on the lower lash line and using a blending brush, extend that shadow to the basin and make sweeps of the windshield. It also blurs the lower lash line and softens the color above and below the eyes.

The next step is to apply a powder shade that is the same shade as the base shade. If you’re in the mood for a bit of shine, you can use one that is satin to give a more noticeable touch to the smoky one. Apply this shade on the mobile lid to seal in the creamy base, making sure the makeup doesn’t shift. Again, use the smudge brush to spread and blend the shade with the previous base.

Mix very well over the basin, until the two products are fully integrated. Don’t forget to apply the same powder shade on the lower lash line to seal the makeup.

To top off the smokiness, we’ll use the last product on this short list: an eye pencil. If you want the makeup to be more intense, you can apply a black pencil. Or if you prefer it a little more natural, to look daytime, you can opt for a brown shade. Apply the pencil in the waterline of your eyes, above and below. If you want, you can also draw a liner on the top of the eye to tear it, but this would be optional.

Try these simple steps that, with just three products and a brush, will make your smoky look perfect for any event and the best… I assure you it won’t take you more than five minutes to do it.
