10 Tips To Be Consistent With Exercise And Diet

The first thing I would say to someone who is inconsistent with exercise and diet is to keep in mind that: the fact that exercise and diet is necessary for your healthamong other things to increase your life expectancy, have more vitality, improve your character, relieve muscle pain, improve digestion, increase the immune system and get better in all areas of your life.

It’s not about exercising and dieting to have an enviable physique, or practicing yoga to do impossible poses, but taking care of the mind and body to be healthy and feel good about yourself.

Isn’t it true that you get up every morning to go to work? Just as important is getting up to exercise and cook healthy. Exercise is health, it’s life, it’s another reason to live energy every day.

First. be disciplinedchange your inner language and your limiting beliefs about exercise and diet: “I am disciplined”, “I can handle anything”, “I exercise and eat easily daily and enjoy it”.

Second. Associate a sense of fun with exercise and dietingand a feeling of great pain due to not exercising and dieting.

Third. Find a sport you like and supplement it with other activities that help you improve your results. From my experience I recommend yoga to you.

Quarter. Change your eating habits and your diet guided little by little by a professional to achieve the desired results.

Fifth. Measure your progress without expecting rapid changes† Forget the scales for a moment, focus on the satisfying feeling after your workout rather than the results, so you don’t get frustrated because changes come slowly.

Take photos and videos to see your progress and motivate yourself† Share them with others! Measure the circumference of your waist, your hips, your arms when accompanied by a professional… you will see how happy you are to see your achievements over time!

Sixth. Define one as strong enough. The more reasons, the better. Make a list of reasons in which you are the main character and another in which your loved ones are.

Seventh. Set smart goals: specific, measurable, achievable, challenging and time-bound. That they take you out of your comfort zone but be realistic so as not to frustrate you.

Eighth. Belong to a group, a communitya club or a team led by a coach, a yoga teacher to help you achieve your goals, be motivated, know what to do and what you are doing wrong.

Ninth. Thank you and congratulate you every day for the time you spent training and to have eaten well. Thank you and congratulations, these are 2 words you should repeat to yourself every day.

Tenth. Enjoy the process and celebrate every little achievement. Be happy today, don’t wait for the results you want to achieve.
All of these points are important if you find it difficult to stay on your own all the time. Many people stop exercising because they are not motivated or expect quick results. Motivation is something that comes and goes… what is really needed is discipline. The results come with dedication and time like any achievement in life.

Enjoy every day on your mat as if it were your last, with no expectations, no excuses. Enjoy your breath, the pain, the softness, the sweat, the elongation of every inch of your skin.
