Singer Anna Vissi has entered the final stage of preparations for her concert at the Athens Olympic Stadium on Saturday, September 26.
The artist published the first behind-the-scenes rehearsal photographs on social media on Wednesday, September 23, offering fans a view of the stadium preparations.
Vissi, a prominent Greek pop artist known across Greece and Cyprus for a music career spanning several decades, is returning to the venue for a major stadium performance.
In her Instagram stories, Vissi appeared wearing a black hoodie, trousers, and a cap with her back turned to the camera. The sunset sky and part of the stadium setup area were visible in front of her.
Rehearsal snapshots also highlighted light-up wristbands bearing the words "ANNA OAKA", which organizers expect to form part of the concert atmosphere.
In a third photograph shared with her online followers, Vissi posed alongside musician Sakis Ntovolis, welcoming him to their family.
Guest appearance by guitarist Orianthi
Greek-Australian guitarist Orianthi will participate in the stadium show. The musician, who was previously chosen to collaborate with Michael Jackson, sent a message to fans ahead of her performance at OAKA.
In a social media video, Orianthi shared her enthusiasm for the concert, writing that the event would be epic, that she was looking forward to joining Vissi at the Olympic Stadium in Greece, and that she could not wait.
Arrival schedule and security guidelines
Concert organizers have issued key information for spectators arriving at the venue. Greek television presenter and actor Giorgos Kapoutzidis outlined transport and entry instructions in a series of social media videos.
Official timetable entries specify that venue gates open for public arrival at 5:00 p.m., followed by a pre-show at 8:00 p.m., and the main concert performance at 9:00 p.m.
Organizers advise ticket holders to use public transport, arrive early, keep their tickets accessible on a mobile device or printed paper, and follow signage corresponding to their ticket category.
Security rules prohibit visitors from bringing specific items into the stadium grounds, including:

- Professional cameras and video equipment
- Sharp or dangerous objects
- Flammable materials
- Drones
- Large umbrellas
- Portable seats
- Glass and metal objects
- Banners and poles

- Alcohol and illegal substances
Production budget and rotating stage setup
The concert has been conceived as a large-scale production, with total expenditure reaching up to, but not exceeding, 5 million euros.
Initial production plans called for audio, lighting, and staging equipment to be imported from abroad. However, evolving expenses led organizers to re-evaluate those choices and source alternative production solutions.
The performance space features a circular 360-degree stage. The stage will rotate throughout the show, allowing Vissi to perform facing different sections of the audience.
