Zendaya's $75 Sunglasses Inspire Fashion Week Looks

Zendaya stepped out in $75 Le Specs sunglasses ahead of New York Fashion Week, and 11 similar under-$100 pairs are still available to shop.

Zendaya's $75 Sunglasses Inspire Fashion Week Looks

Zendaya was recently photographed wearing a pair of Le Specs Honey Pot sunglasses, priced at $75, styled with jeans and a T-shirt for an off-duty look.

The slim, Y2K-inspired frame has a softly rounded profile and hybrid shape meant to suit a range of face shapes. Zendaya's choice marks a shift away from the bug-eye shields and dramatically oversized frames that dominated eyewear this past summer, toward a slimmer, retro-leaning silhouette for fall.

Why Fashion Week Matters for the Trend

New York Fashion Week takes place each September and gives a preview of the fashions that will arrive on runways next spring, though the street style captured outside the shows often signals what people are already wearing right now. Stars seated front row frequently wear flash-blocking sunglasses, and retro frames like Zendaya's are tipped to be a common sight at New York Fashion Week as a result.

Unlike a fleeting runway trend, slim, retro-style sunglasses are versatile enough for both days off and dressier occasions, and each of the pairs below retails for under $100.

Zendaya's exact pair, the Le Specs Honey Pot Sunglasses, costs $75 and features a slim rectangle frame with a softly rounded profile designed as a hybrid shape.

More Y2K-Inspired Frames for Fall

Several other Le Specs styles echo the same look. The Duskfall Sunglasses, $85, are among the brand's bestsellers and are described as "the ultimate '90s frame," with narrow oval lenses, several colorways and scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses. The Lunita Sunglasses, also $85, offer a petite, sculpted round shape, while the Don't Cha Sunglasses, $85, which have drawn more than 100 five-star reviews, feature a slimline, slightly wrapped silhouette.

The Outta Love Sunglasses, $75, revive the skinny, round shape that Le Specs calls a celebrity favorite, noting the style has been worn by Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, Dua Lipa, Kourtney Kardashian, Olivia Rodrigo and Zoë Kravitz. The Magnifique Sunglasses, $85, offer a slim, skinny-oval shape, and the Foundry Sunglasses, $75, update the trend with a wider-fit, more avant-garde silhouette.

Statement and Discounted Styles

The Popalicious Sunglasses, $85, combine the skinny oval look with an angular shape and roomier coverage, while the Whisperer Sunglasses, $99, blend a round shape with a retro cat-eye for a hybrid style, available in black or tortoise acetate as well as bolder butter-yellow and red-on-red colorways.

Two pairs are currently discounted. The Work It! Sunglasses have dropped from $85 to $49.99, a 41% discount, and feature wide wings trimmed with gold hardware. The Starlight Sunglasses have fallen from $85 to $39.99, a 53% discount, with an angular, straight-across shape designed to add structure to round or oval face shapes.
