Disembarking from one of the aircraft, the head of state began a working trip to the region, though observers did not specify which exact liner he used.

At the event, Putin reacted when Mikhail Kovalchuk, the head of the Kurchatov Institute, requested to say another word during a 20-minute report. Putin exclaimed help following the request.
