Vilnius Mayor Valdas Bencunskas has declared rapper Alisher Morgenshtern a threat to Lithuania's security, according to a post on his Facebook page. Morgenshtern has been listed by Russia's Justice Ministry as a foreign agent.
Bencunskas called on Lithuania's state security department to evaluate the risks posed by a possible Morgenshtern concert in Vilnius. He said the rapper is now trying to visit the Lithuanian capital for a fourth time.

Mayor's remarks
Bencunskas said Morgenshtern still does not acknowledge who Crimea belongs to, publicly supports Russian President Vladimir Putin, and has been placed by Ukraine on a list of people considered a threat to its national security.
Moldova previously compiled a blacklist of Russian performers that includes Morgenshtern along with Leonid Agutin, Diana Arbenina, Klava Koka (Klavdia Vysokova), Guf (Alexei Dolmatov), Egor Kreed, Basta (Vasily Vakulenko) and Sergei Shnurov.
