Greek singers Despoina Vandi and Natasa Theodoridou spoke in videos released ahead of rehearsals for their new collaboration at NOX, explaining how the pairing came together.

Asked about the collaboration, Vandi joked that she had waited many years to work with Theodoridou, but had to wait for her to grow up a little first, since Theodoridou was still very young and playing at playgrounds when the idea first came up.

Theodoridou answered more seriously, saying she had wanted very much to sing with Vandi this year. She said she believes the two of them suit each other well and that they are ready for the collaboration with all their songs, energy and love, adding that audiences would see this proven right.

Favourite songs from each other's catalogue

The two were also asked to name a song by the other artist they wished they had performed themselves. Vandi did not pick the expected hit "Kokkini Grammi," choosing instead "Diskoles Stigmes," which she said she especially loves.

Theodoridou chose "Koritsaki Sou" from Vandi's catalogue.
