Home scenes – Claudia Mongumu and Ryad Baxx: "Our on-screen connection greatly influences daily life."

Claudia Mongumu and Ryad Baxx, who arrived last year, continue their roles as Louise and Jalil in the 14th season of the M6 series.

What is your assessment one year after your arrival? home scenes ?

Claudia Mongumu: It’s a crazy and exciting project because it brings a pretty crazy pace with so many things to integrate. Working with writers, we discover our characters over time.

Ryan Baxx: It’s funny to me to live with my passions, a while ago I was still a prison guard. Now I reflect myself inside home scenes, as in a family. I’m part of a cult show and it warms my heart.

Can you tell us how your characters will develop in this new season?

Claudia: The opening of the restaurant is fast approaching! Contrary to what you might think, we discover a Louise who doesn’t necessarily manage her stress. There will also be more craziness on his part.

Riyadh: Jalil will be honest with himself, yet he will be clumsy. He will try to resist the pressure exerted by his family. Unlike Louise, Jalil has no passion, except for the firefighting job she’s always wanted to do. Therefore, he will try to find his own way.

What kind of relationship do you have with your partner?

Claudia: Our connection to the screen greatly influences daily life. We became very good friends. We see each other often outside of the shoot. Whether we like it or not, our fate is somewhat related to Household Scenes.

Riyadh: It’s like Claudia is my mirror. I trust him blindly. This is the foundation of any healthy relationship, especially in this setting. There are artistic encounters, but above all there are heart encounters and we managed to connect the two.

In January, Marion Game, who plays Huguette, told the press that your couple was “not interested” and “not affiliated with the Scene.” How did you get it?

Claudia: It was not a pleasant moment. The production supported us with great kindness. He is an actor that I respect a lot like his job. This is what I prefer to remember.

Riyadh : Of course it touched me. But we were very lucky because we were really well supported at this stage. It really pissed me off when people were talking about me, but I didn’t take it personally. I didn’t feel angry or offended. I greatly admire his career and I don’t blame him at all for not appreciating the characters as they were originally presented, knowing that we still have time to develop them!

What are your projects besides the series?

Claudia: There are a lot of them in the theater and I’m starting to do dubbing for the cinema. I’m also going to be the face of a hair product brand. We love working with Ryad. We think different things.

Riyadh: Yes, I’m trying to write a one-man show about my thirteen-year guard job. And Claudia immediately offered to lead. I will also be in the theater by the end of the year and also in a TV movie for the M6 in October.
