The actress had recently fallen into a coma caused by a deadly form of meningitis. Her older sister first shared the news about the comedian’s condition on Facebook on August 5th.
“I try to keep my spirits up and support those in need. As many of you know, I’m a special person so it’s hard for me. I ask for support and prayers for myself, my sister and my only immediate family, Denise Dowse,” Trace Dowse wrote. “His doctors don’t know when he will come out of his coma because he was not medically warned. He is a live actor and director with many years ahead of him. Thoughts, prayers and support are greatly appreciated.”
